My sister on TV
My sister, Jennifer deCastroverde, is an actress in LA and she appeared in this commercial back about several years ago. I'd thought I'd share this with everyone. She's doing a new show in LA for the month of April.
She got mentioned in the LA Times among some other papers for her performance in A Noise Within's production of Picnic.
Here are some of her reviews for her performance in Picnic:

GYBE: 9/11
Godspeed You Black Emperor is one of the greatest bands that I know of right now. After the 9/11 attacks, I was teaching an Adobe Premiere class and a project came up about creating a music video.
My class and I started talking about videos that impact us in a large way. I wanted to demonstrate the ease of editing with Adobe Premiere using clips that came with the software, clips I had done myself and clips that I had gathered off the TV that day.
If this is the first impression that you get from Godspeed You Black Emperor, then it pleases me to be the first to introduce you to them. They are amazing. When I first heard this song, 9/11 popped into my head because of the lyrics:
"the buildings tumbled in on themselves
mothers clutching babies picked through the rubble
and pulled out their hair"
The rest of the video was remanipulated using Quicktime to get a certain illustrated/static-tv look.
It truly is a sad song and it frames such a sad moment in our nation's history. Let me know what you think.
